The Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov called the only problem of Russian football an insufficient number of his own pupils and a large number of foreigners.

– I do not see any problems in Russian football. The only thing is that we have a lack of our own pupils, and there are too many foreigners. Perhaps this is the main problem.

Children and youth football in a planned manner is not just good, but brilliantly developing. We have many academies, schools and schools. Russia is one of the advanced countries in terms of reserve preparation. We have everything: magnificent bases, good salaries for coaches, a lot of involved, but there are not enough qualities, and this is a problem.

In almost every RPL team, the main force is legionnaires. And our good class players appear several people per season – this is too little. To solve this problem, you need to increase the level of training. There is only one path: training and training. It is also necessary that we have outstanding football players. In the days of the USSR, we had such: Mostovoy, Karpin, even earlier Simonyans and other generations. We need to look for football players gifted by nature.
