Liverpool set a global record for spending in one transfer window

The English Liverpool set a world record for the amount of money spent in one transfer window.
According to Transfermarkt, Liverpool spent 483 million euros in the summer transfer window. The previous record belonged to Chelsea. In 2023, the Londoners spent 464 million euros.
The most expensive Liverpool transfers were the Swedish striker of Newcasl Alexander Isak (144 million euros) and the German Bayer midfielder Florian Virts (125 million euros).
The British also bought the southeast (Aintracht, 95 million), Milos Kerkez (Bormut, 46.9 million euros), Jeremy Fritong (Bayer, 40 million), Giovanni Leoni (Parma, 31 million euros) and Armin of the furnace (Pushkash Academy, 1.78 million euros).
