The arbitration court of the Moscow region recognized the failure of the Khimki Football Club.
Khimki announced the suspension of the activity on June 18. Previously, the club, due to financial problems, has not received a license to participate in the World Premier League of the Russian season (RPL) and lost the opportunity to perform in the highest division of the Russian championship.
Khimki was founded in 1997. In 2007, the team entered the highest division of the Russian championship for the first time and took the ninth place in the debut season.
