The defender of the Grozny “Akhmat” Nader Gandry said that in his career there were no such funny episodes as in the match against the Petersburg “Zenith” in the Russian Cup.

The meeting of the fourth round of the group stage of the RPL Fonbet Cup took place on Wednesday in St. Petersburg and ended with a score of 2: 1 in favor of the hosts. In the time compensated by the second time, Gandry violated the rules against the Zenit midfielder Andrei Mostovoy. Arbiter Rafael Shafeev first showed him a red card, but after the hint Var canceled this decision and presented a warning. Leaving the field, Gandry threw a T -shirt onto the rostrum, which was caught by one of the fans. After the football player returned from the sub -tribune room to the field, the viewer returned a T -shirt to him.

– After my removal, I immediately asked the referee, showing me a red card, whether there would be a check later with the judge’s video assistant. After he said no, but I was already going to the locker room, I noticed a guy with a tunisian flag on the stands. I decided to give this boy my T -shirt, but in the sub -tribune tunnel I was called to the team administrator when the referee changed his decision.

Due to the fact that I had little time to return to the game at the end of the match, I stopped our administrator who went to the locker room for a second game T -shirt. And still I decided to ask the boy that T -shirt back. After the match, I invited him to the hotel in which we lived and gave him this T -shirt. Glad he understood me (smiles). It turned out funny. There were no such cases in my career before. I am grateful to this guy for understanding me in that situation and returning my T -shirt to play the match, ”the Akhmat press service quoted Gandry.
