The Liverpool legend Steven Gerard he turned down the opportunity to lead Scottish Rangers again.
The Englishman met with the management of the Glasgow club on Friday and the following day decided to withdraw from the negotiations.
In the 2020/21 season, Gerrard led Rangers to victory in the Scottish Championship. The club is currently looking for a new manager following the resignation of Russell Martin.
