“Doesn’t feel very good.” Deschamps on Mbappe’s ankle injury
France head coach Didier Deschamps spoke about the injury of striker Kylian Mbappe.
In the World Cup qualifying match against the Azerbaijani team (3:0), Mbappe scored a goal. During the game he received a blow to his ankle and was replaced in the 83rd minute.
“He was hit on the right ankle again. She still bothers him, but less than at the beginning of the week. This often happens when an already injured area is hit. We’ll check your condition and get a doctor’s report. There is nothing to worry about now, although he is not feeling very well. He has discomfort, and that’s bad. Having received a new blow, he simply felt again that his ankle still hurt, L’Equipe quotes Deschamps.
Mbappe scored goals in ten consecutive matches for the French national team and Real Madrid.
