Second girl withdraws charges against Asensio in sex tape case
The second girl dropped her claims against Real Madrid football player Raul Asensio in the case of distributing a sex video, COPE reports.
Earlier, the court of the city of San Bartolome de Tirajana (Gran Canaria) agreed to begin proceedings against the Real Madrid football player and former players of the youth system of the Madrid club Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodriguez and Andres Garcia, accused of distributing without permission sexual videos involving two young women, one of whom is a minor.
Now the 16-year-old victim has withdrawn charges against Asensio for distributing the video and violating the right to privacy. Charges against other players remain in force.
The girl argues for her decision by saying that “his behavior was completely different from the behavior of the other accused.” In addition, according to the girl, Asensio apologized, admitting that he had committed a “reprehensible offense,” and compensated for the moral damage caused.
Earlier, the 18-year-old victim refused to accuse the Real Madrid football player and the Spanish national team.
