Police used tear gas during riots at the DR Congo football championship match
The police were forced to use tear gas during the riots that began at the DR Congo football championship match between the Simba and TP Mazembe teams, journalist Stanis Tshiamala reported on social networks.
The meeting took place on Tuesday in Kolwezi and ended with a score of 1:1.
After the end of the game, fans, dissatisfied with the referee’s decisions, ran onto the field and began throwing stones. The police had to intervene and use tear gas to bring the situation back to normal.
