The Belarusian national team drew with the Danes in the World Cup qualifying match

The Belarusian national team drew away against the Danish team with the score 2:2 in the qualifying match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Goals scored for the home team Mikkel Damsgaard (11th minute) e Gustav Isaksen (79). The Belarusians excelled Valery Gromyko (62) e Nikita Demchenko (65).

In another Group C match, Greece beat Scotland 3:2. The Danes scored 11 points and occupy 1st place in the table. Followed by the teams of Scotland (10 points), Greece (6) and Belarus (1).

In the final round, the Scottish team will face the Danish team. If they win, the Scots will take first place and qualify for the World Cup. With a different result the Danes will qualify for the final part of the tournament.

For the first time, 48 teams will take part in the 2026 World Cup. The tournament will take place from 11 June to 19 July. The draw will take place on December 5, 2025 in Washington.

30 teams have secured participation in the tournament. These are the Mexican national teams, USACanada (all are hosts), Japan, Iran, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, South AfricaQatar, England, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, France and Croatia.
