Valery Karpin said that he has decided to leave the post of head coach of Dinamo Moscow to fully concentrate on work in the Russian national football team. Karpin’s comment is provided by the press service of the Russian Football Federation.
“Dear fans, today I decided to finish my work at Dinamo Moscow and focus completely on the Russian national team. This is a balanced and thoughtful decision. Today, my only priority remains the national team’s results, preparation for both individual matches and for the team’s return to the international level. For this, we all have a lot of work to do,” Karpin said.
Karpin is 56 years old and has been the coach of the Russian national team since 2021. The specialist took over Dynamo in the summer of 2025.
