Leshchenko: “Karpin and Dynamo simply didn’t work well together. They’re like people who got married and then realized they weren’t right for each other.”
People’s Artist of Russia and Dynamo Moscow fan Lev Leshchenko told Match TV that Valery Karpin did not work well with the football club and therefore decided to leave the post of head coach of the team.
Karpin on Monday voluntarily left the post of head coach of the Blue and Whites. He took over Dynamo in the summer of 2025, signing a three-year contract. At the same time, he combined work in the club and the Russian national team.
“I think he did the right thing.” Karpin and Dynamo simply didn’t work well together. You know how it happens, people get married, and then realize that they are not suitable for each other.
