Spartak beat CSKA in the RPL in the first match after Stankovic left
The Moscow football club “Spartak” defeated the capital’s CSKA in the home match of the 16th round of the WORLD Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting ended with a score of 1:0. The goal was scored in the 43rd minute by Igor Dmitriev.
This game was the first for Spartak after Dejan Stankovic left the post of head coach. He left the club on November 11. Vadim Romanov was appointed acting head coach of the “red-whites”.
“Spartak” with 28 points is sixth in the RPL table, CSKA (33) is second.
In the next round, Spartak will play away against Kaliningrad Baltika on November 29, and CSKA will host Orenburg on the same day.
