Head of the FNL Izmailov: “Teams from Donetsk, Lugansk and Kherson will be certified to participate in the Second League “B”
President of the Football National League (FNL) Nail Izmailov said on MATCH PRIME that clubs from Donetsk, Lugansk and Kherson will be certified to participate in the Second League, Division “B”.
– Now seven new clubs have already submitted applications for certification – they were not there last season. In particular, teams from Donetsk, Lugansk and Kherson will be certified for participation in the Second League “B”.
— What are the plans for them and how will these mechanics be built?
— Teams get into the Second League “B” only on the basis of sport. To do this, they must win either regional competitions or a similar tournament – such as the Commonwealth Cup, which is held between Crimea, Sevastopol and the new territories of Russia. Having won this tournament, the team receives the right to undergo the certification procedure. If it is successfully completed, the club gets the opportunity to play in the Second League “B,” Izmailov said on MATCH PREMIER.
