“After the failure of the option with Ural, Kerzhakov had a lot of free time, so he decided to engage in hype” – Dzyuba’s representative
Former Russian national team forward Alexander Kerzhakov was unable to lead Ural, so he had a lot of free time for hype, Leonid Goldman, a representative of Akron forward Artem Dzyuba, told Match TV.
In March, Dzyuba became the top scorer of the Russian national team in history (31), overtaking Kerzhakov. In December, Kerzhakov in his Telegram channel published a translation of a fragment of a letter from FIFA, which confirms the “actual right to a goal” as part of the Russian national team in a friendly match against the German team, which took place on June 8, 2005 (2:2). At the moment, Andrei Arshavin is considered the author of the goal. If this goal is credited to Kerzhakov, he will equal Dzyuba in the number of goals scored.
— As far as I understand, until recently Alexander was applying for the post of head coach of Ural and really wanted to return to coaching. But after his candidacy was not chosen, Kerzhakov had a lot of free time and he apparently decided to engage in hype. Plus, competent PR people and lawyers have appeared who are trying to inflate this story. I would not like to participate in this at this stage. Because so far these are just fake news and messages in Telegram channels, fueled by Alexander himself and his team.
I saw a post – a translation of some letter. It says that this is a translation from English. I think that among the 1.5 thousand subscribers of his channel there would be people who would understand the English text. If there really are any papers, then I urge them to be made public, and then to understand the official position of the RFU, whether they will appeal to the German Football Association. I always advocate for movement in the media, for some kind of PR stories, but at the moment I wouldn’t want to get involved in this. In any case, Artem, regardless of Kerzhakov’s records and number of goals, always said that he was extremely proud of playing for the Russian national team and was always ready to return there, Goldman told a Match TV correspondent.
