Head coach of the Kaliningrad football club “Baltika” Andrei Talalaev apologized to the Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Alexei Batrakov before the match between Russia and Jordan (0:0). Talalaev’s comment is quoted by Sport Express.
After the cup match between Baltika and Lokomotiv (0:2), which took place on August 13, Batrakov was criticized by Talalaev. The meeting between the national teams of Russia and Jordan (0:0) took place on September 4.
“I apologized for my not entirely correct behavior. But at the same time he reproached him for allowing himself too much. We found a compromise and understood each other,” Talalaev said.
Talalaev is 53 years old, he led Baltika in September 2024. The Kaliningrad team takes fifth place in the national championship after 18 rounds, gaining 35 points.
