Zambia striker Patson Daka nearly broke his neck while celebrating a goal in the first round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations group stage match against Mali.
The meeting ended with the score 1:1. Daku equalized the score in second-half stoppage time.
After scoring the goal, the forward tried to perform a somersault, but performed one of the elements unsuccessfully and landed on his neck, after which he remained lying on the lawn.
