Santos forward Neymar underwent arthroscopy on an injured meniscus
Santos striker Neymar underwent surgery due to a meniscus injury, the press service of the Brazilian club reports.
At the end of November, the Brazilian missed the match of the 35th round of the Brazilian Championship due to discomfort in his knee. After that, he took part in three games and scored four goals.

Neymar will be discharged on Monday and will begin rehabilitation under the guidance of his physiotherapist Rafael Martini, the press release says.
The 33-year-old forward’s current agreement with the Brazilian club runs until December 31. Last season of the Brazilian Championship, Neymar played 20 matches and scored eight goals. Santos took 12th place in the standings and retained their registration in the Brazilian Serie A.
