Ivlev outlined the tasks facing Dynamo under the leadership of Gusev

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moscow Dynamo Alexander Ivlev said that the team led by Rolan Gusev should rise in the MIR RPL standings and compete for victory in the FONBET Russian Cup.

On Tuesday, Dynamo announced that Gusev has been confirmed as the team’s head coach until the end of the 2025/26 season. The specialist has been the acting head coach of the Blue and Whites since mid-November, when Valery Karpin left the team.

From January 12, Dynamo begins preparations for the spring segment. The tasks facing the team under the leadership of Gusev are to fight for the cup and rise as high as possible in the RPL standings, the Dynamo press service quotes Ivlev as saying.

Dynamo, with 21 points, ranks 10th in the Russian Championship standings after 18 rounds. Gusev’s team will host Krylya Sovetov Samara in the first round after the winter break on March 1. In the Russian Cup, Dynamo reached the semi-finals of the RPL Path, where they will play against Spartak Moscow.
