Koloskov called Dynamo’s decision to appoint Gusev as head coach reasonable and optimal

Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov said that he looks positively at the decision of Dynamo Moscow to approve Rolan Gusev as head coach.

On Tuesday, Dynamo announced the appointment of Gusev as head coach until the end of the 2025/26 season. The specialist has been the acting head coach of the Blue and Whites since mid-November, when Valery Karpin left the team.

— I look at this decision with a positive attitude – it’s good that they gave the Russian coach a chance. Gusev has already performed duties twice, and both times the team played well. In addition, apparently, Dynamo simply had no other choice – they were in such time pressure that it would be absolutely unreasonable to take the risk of taking a pig in a poke. Therefore, this is a reasonable and optimal solution from all points of view. We must congratulate Roland on his appointment and wish him good luck.

Now his future at Dynamo depends on the period until the end of the championship. My wish is that he completes his training until the end of the season and proves himself to be a mature specialist. “And then we’ll see,” RB Sport quotes Koloskov.

Dynamo is in 10th place in the Russian Championship standings with 21 points.

Secrets of the Real Madrid dressing room: Kroos told how he got along with Vinicius

Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos He talked about his interaction with Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior and other representatives of Brazil within the scope of the “royal club”.

“The Brazilians aroused my sympathy even as a child. While playing for Real Madrid, I developed excellent relationships with Vinicius, Casemiro and Militao.

It is very easy to find a common language with these guys: they know how to enjoy life, and their mentality is significantly different from that of the Germans.

Casemiro and Vinicius and I understood each other perfectly on the field and developed a unique football bond with Vini.

We communicated warmly in daily life. I believe that if there is no contact between players off the field, it is extremely difficult to achieve harmony in the game.

I used Vini’s high-speed bursts effectively and he masterfully directed my passes,” AS Kroos reports.

Let’s remember that Kroos defended the jersey of Real Madrid from 2014 to 2024. During this decade the German midfielder won the Champions League five times.
