French PSG intends to acquire Real Madrid football player Antonio Rudiger, El Nacional claims.
According to the source, the Parisian coaching staff expects the 32-year-old German defender to become the leader of the locker room and a senior friend for the young players. Rudiger previously admitted in an interview with Sky Sports that he wanted to move to PSG five years ago, when the Paris team was coached by his compatriot Thomas Tuchel.
This season, Rüdiger played in six La Liga matches without scoring any goals. The defender missed the entire autumn part of the season due to a left hip injury.
The Transfermarkt portal estimates Rudiger’s value at 12 million euros. The German’s contract with the Madrid club expires in June.
