Kafanov named the best Russian goalkeeper in 2025
Goalkeeper coach of the Russian national football team Vitaly Kafanov named Krasnodar footballer Stanislav Agkatsev the best Russian goalkeeper in 2025 on MATCH PRIME.
“With some slight advantage, I vote for Agkatsev,” Kafanov said on the air of the “Central Circle” program on MATCH PRIME.
This season, 23-year-old Agkatsev played 20 matches for Krasnodar, leaving the goal intact in nine. Last season, the goalkeeper as part of the Krasnodar club became the champion of Russia. In 2025, Agkatsev played three matches for the Russian national team – against the teams of Grenada (5:0, spent 45 minutes on the field), Bolivia (3:0) and Chile (0:2).
After 18 rounds of the RPL, Krasnodar scored 40 points and leads the standings.
