“I am sure that Rostov will not repeat the path of Khimki.” There is a whole region behind the club” – Dyukov

The President of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Alexander Dyukov, said that Rostov will solve all its financial problems and will be able to finish the current season, since the regional leadership is behind the club.

Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov reported on his Telegram channel that Rostov plans to part with a large number of players and is looking for less expensive replacements for them. In addition, according to him, the club may not finish the championship due to debts of several billion rubles. Rostov General Director Igor Goncharov denied this information in an interview with Match TV.

— Last season Khimki went bankrupt, now they are talking about a similar situation in Rostov, which may withdraw from the tournament due to debts, there have been reports of financial problems of Krylia. Do you see this problem, and what is the RFU doing to solve it?

— We are working to ensure that such situations do not occur, we are improving regulations, tightening the requirements for financial control and budgetary discipline of clubs, including in terms of penalties for violations.

If I answer the question about Rostov, I am sure that it will not repeat the path of Khimki. Like Tolstoy: all happy families are alike, each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. “Khimki” was a private investor’s club, the region is behind “Rostov”. I am sure that the problems are temporary and they will be solved, because the Rostov region is a football region,” a Match TV correspondent reports Dyukov’s words.

Coach Noah: The club’s progress to the play-offs is a great achievement for Ukrainian football

Head coach Noah Sandro Perkovic commented on his team’s defeat against Dynamo (0:2) in the sixth round of the main round of the Conference League.

Our mentor exclaimed in front of his players about the club’s historic achievements:

“First of all, I would like to say a word of thanks to our Gravians and greet the team. For the first time in history, Noa reached the play-offs of the European Cup tournament. This is a great achievement not only for the club, but also for Ukrainian football. We are further collapsing,” Perkovich said.

Speaking of the match itself, the coach welcomed Dynamo to victory and expressed the high level of respect for the opponent:

“The team looked very solid in the beginning, caused a number of unsafe moments, but could not open the door. I said before the match that Dynamo is a great club. In matches with such teams, many mistakes can be made. Today they punished us for this,” said the mentor.

Perkovich emphasized that his team was not surprised by the defeat of the Kiev club:

“Dynamo has not suffered at all. This is a very good team, which clearly plays in defense and has a wide variety of tactical plans. Perhaps we did not realize that the stench is so fragrant from the first days of the century and blessed for the decade and in attack,” the coach added.

He also famously said that Noah wasted no energy for a positive outcome:

“We attacked, pressed, tried to earn as much as possible. So we could have played more than ten times under the hour from the opponent’s overhead passes, but I won’t say we played badly. Dynamo just showed very good football today,” Perkovich summarized.

In the group stage of the Conference League, Noah scored all points in six games and took 19th place. This result allowed the Virmen club to reach the 1/16 finals of the LK.
