The RFU has prepared several versions of the budget for 2026 for different scenarios, Dyukov said

The Russian Football Union for 2026 has prepared several versions of the budget for different scenarios of developments, said RFU President Alexander Dyukov.

The final meeting of the RFU 2025 executive committee was held on Friday in Moscow.

— At today’s meeting of the RFU executive committee, several issues were considered. The main ones are the annual budget of the Russian Football Union for 2026 and the forecast budget for 2027.

The second important issue was the decision of the executive committee to delegate the rights to host the Russian Football Championship to the Russian Premier League. A number of decisions were also made to amend certain regulations and normative documents, in particular to the RFU licensing rules.

— Tell us about the adopted RFU budget for next year.

— We have prepared several versions of the budget, designed for different scenarios. The basic scenario assumes both an increase in income and an increase in expenses for the development of football – primarily for children, youth and mass football.

Since the situation with revenue receipts next year is not fully determined, a fallback scenario is provided. He assumes that the income will be slightly less than the RFU received in 2025. If we talk about deviation percentages, this is a slight reduction in the budget.

At the same time, we expect that we will be able to implement the budget and business plan in the basic scenario, which assumes an increase in income and an increase in expenses for football development projects,” a Match TV correspondent reports Dyukov’s words.
