Ex-football player of CSKA and the Russian youth team was beaten and wounded with a firearm in the Moscow region
Former footballer of the Russian youth team and CSKA Moscow Lionel Adams was attacked with a weapon in the Moscow region, Sport Baza reports.
According to the source, 31-year-old Adams was attacked in a cafe in Zvenigorod, where he was relaxing with friends.
About ten people approached Adamsa and started a racial conflict. Then one of those who approached took out a pistol and shot at the player. After this, the remaining participants began to beat Adams.
Following the incident, Adams was hospitalized with lacerations to his lips and a gunshot wound.
During his career, Adams played for the youth team of CSKA, Krasnoyarsk Yenisei, KAMAZ from Naberezhnye Chelny and clubs from Kazakhstan, Belarus and Spain. In addition, he was called up to the Russian U18 national team. Adams is currently a free agent.
