Police are looking for those who beat and wounded the former CSKA football player
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Odintsovo city district is looking into the circumstances of the incident, as a result of which former CSKA Moscow football player Lionel Adams was attacked and received a gunshot wound, reports the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region.
As the Sport Baza Telegram channel reported, Adams was attacked with a weapon in the Moscow region. After the incident, the victim was hospitalized with lacerations to his lips and a gunshot wound.
— The duty department received a message that sounds similar to gunshots were heard near one of the houses located on Moskovskaya Street in the city of Zvenigorod.
The arriving police officers previously established that a quarrel occurred between three citizens, which escalated into a brawl, during which several shots were fired from an object structurally similar to a traumatic pistol. As a result of the incident, a man born in 1994. sought medical help, and the offenders fled.
Police officers are taking measures aimed at identifying the attackers, as well as searching for and apprehending them, the text of the message says.
During his career, 31-year-old Adams played for the youth team of CSKA, Krasnoyarsk Yenisei, KAMAZ from Naberezhnye Chelny and clubs from Kazakhstan, Belarus and Spain. In addition, he was called up to the Russian U18 national team. Adams is currently a free agent.
