Ousmane Dembele wins Player of the Year award at Globe Soccer Awards
Paris Saint-Germain striker Ousmane Dembele has been named the world’s best player of 2025 according to the Globe Soccer Awards.
The awards ceremony takes place in Dubai.
Dembele was ahead of teammate Vitinha, Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid), Rafinha, Lamin Yamal (both Barcelona) in the poll.
PSG midfielder Désiré Douhet was named the best young player. The best coach was Luis Enrique, who leads the Parisians. PSG is also named the main men’s club.
Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba won the Comeback of the Year category. The award was presented to him by former UFC lightweight champion Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Tennis player Novak Djokovic was named athlete of the year.
The Globe Soccer Awards were created by the European Club Association and the European Association of Football Agents.
