Veronika Stepanova: “PSG goalkeeper Safonov can be compared with Ovechkin in terms of results”
Olympic cross-country champion Veronika Stepanova said on Match TV that PSG footballer Matvey Safonov can be compared in terms of results with Washington hockey player Alexander Ovechkin.
In April, Ovechkin scored the 895th career goal in the NHL regular season and surpassed Wayne Gretzky’s achievement (894), taking clear first place in this indicator in the history of the league. At the moment, the Russian has 912 goals.
