Striker Semenyo transferred from Bournemouth to Manchester City for a record fee
Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo has moved from Bournemouth to Manchester City, according to the City website.
The agreement with the football player runs until 2031. Previously, the media reported that the transfer amount would be 64 million pounds sterling, including bonuses. The Bournemouth press service reported on social networks that this is a record sale of a football player in the history of the club.
Semenyo is 26 years old and has made 110 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions, scoring 32 goals and providing 13 assists. The Ghanaian previously also played for Bristol City, Newport County and Sunderland.
Manchester City is second in the English Championship standings with 43 points.
