Akhmetov: “Wendel is one of the strongest football players I’ve played with”
Krylia Sovetov midfielder Ilzat Akhmetov, in a conversation with Match TV, called Zenit midfielder Wendel one of the strongest football players with whom he played.
This season, Wendel played 16 matches, scoring one goal and making two assists. Akhmetov, whose rights belong to Zenit, played with the Brazilian in the St. Petersburg club.

— At Zenit the selection of players is very high, there are no bad players there. I’ll single out Wendel, one of the strongest players I’ve played with. I think he can achieve more with his talent.
