Administrator of Moscow Torpedo Alexander Petrov he wishes everyone to live 50 years like he did, having worked for so long in the football club.
On December 4, Petrov received the TASS award “For loyalty”, named after the former footballer of Moscow Spartak and the national team USSR Fedora Cerenkova in the category “For dedication to work”.
“For me, Torpedo is a sign on the chest. Of course, behind it is another sign (tattoo – source note). 50 years in the same team. May God grant everyone to live as I have lived these 50 years,” Petrov said.
“It’s very honorable and right to receive such an award. This is important for people who we don’t usually see. Administrators who work at all levels in all leagues. People who like to work in silence. They don’t hear the applause. They are applauded when everything goes well, but with us everything almost always goes well, it is clear that if you don’t wear a shirt, then first of all you will be responsible for it. So I am very grateful,” he added.
