Zhirkov and Sharonov joined the coaching staff of Dynamo Moscow
Yuri Zhirkov and Roman Sharonov became assistants to the head coach of Dynamo Moscow Rolan Gusev, the press service of the football club reports.
At the end of December, Dynamo approved Gusev as the team’s head coach until the end of the 2025/26 season. The specialist acted as head coach of the Blue and White at the end of last season, and also since mid-November, when Valery Karpin left Dynamo.
Agustin Quillaborda, who will be responsible for the physical training of the players, also joined the coaching staff.
Zhirkov played for Dynamo from 2013 to 2015. In February 2023, the football player announced his retirement from his professional career. Sharonov twice became the Russian champion as part of Rubin Kazan; in the 2020/21 season, the specialist was part of the coaching staff of Cypriot Paphos.
After 18 rounds, the Moscow team ranks 10th in the RPL standings.
