The Egyptian national team beat the Ivory Coast team in the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations
The Egyptian team became the last semi-finalist of the African Cup of Nations.
In the quarter-final match, the Egyptian team beat the Ivory Coast team with a score of 3:2. Omar Marmoush, Rabia Rami and Mohamed Salah scored goals for the Egyptian national team, Güell Douai scored for Côte d’Ivoire, and the Egyptians scored another goal into their own goal.
In the semi-finals, the Egyptian team will play against the Senegal team, and the Nigerian team will meet against the Moroccan team. Both matches will take place on January 14.
