Sevilla lost to Celta in the home match of the 19th round of the Spanish Football Championship.
The meeting in Seville ended with a score of 1:0. The victory for Celta was brought by a goal from Marcos Alonso from the penalty spot in the 88th minute of the match.
Sevilla lost its third match in a row in La Liga and is in 14th place in the standings with 20 points. Celta (29) secured seventh position.
In the next round, Sevilla will play away against Elche on January 19, and Celta will host Rayo Vallecano the day before.
