Kostroma Spartak signed three foreign players for the first time in club history
Kostroma’s Spartak, which plays in the PARI First League, announced the signing of three foreign players ahead of the second part of the current season.
According to the team’s press service, for the first time in the club’s history, three foreign players joined the squad. They were 30-year-old Argentine goalkeeper Claudio Daniel Sappa, 26-year-old Bosnian midfielder Faruk Gogic and 26-year-old Bosnian striker Djordje Pantelic.
Sappa previously played for the Argentine San Miguel, while Gogic and Pantelic defended the colors of the Bosnian Radnik Bijeljina.
“Spartak from Kostroma” for the first time in history reached the First League following the results of last season. After the first part of the season, the team ranks fourth in the First League standings, gaining 34 points in 21 matches.
