Extension of the attacker’s contract Alessandra Radulova with the Yaroslavl club of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) “Lokomotiv” inspired the footballer from Togliatti “Akron” Artem Dzyuba.
On January 9, Lokomotiv announced the extension of the contract with the 39-year-old Radulov until the summer of 2027.
“Did you make a final decision about your career over the winter? At the start of the season I thought it was definitely a one-year thing [поиграю]. And now, maybe, I’ll think about it. [Александр] Radulov inspired me and extended me another year. I think it will stay dusted for another year,” Dzyuba said.
This season KHL Radulov scored 19 goals and provided 19 assists in 44 games for Lokomotiv.
Radulov is 39 years old, a two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup, a two-time world champion. Radulov was twice recognized as the most valuable player of the regular season KHLhe became the regular season leading scorer three times and the playoff leading scorer twice.
