Carcedo invited young football players to Spartak’s first training camp
Moscow “Spartak” on Thursday morning went to the first training camp, which will be held on January 15–23 in Dubai (UAE), the club’s press service reports.
Before departure, sports director Francis Cahigao introduced head coach Juan Carlos Carcedo and his assistants to the players.
It is noted that young football players will work at the training camp along with the first team, whom the new coaching staff led by Carcedo wants to see in action.
A total of 27 players will take part in the first training camp. Christopher Wu and Theo Bongonda were rested after their performance at the African Cup. They must join the team at the second training camp. In addition, during the second training camp, Srdjan Babic, who continues to recover from surgery on cruciate ligaments, will fly to Dubai.
Spartak lineup for the first training camp:
goalkeepers — Alexander Dovbnya, Alexander Maksimenko, Ruslan Pichienko and Ilya Pomazun;
defenders — Egor Guziev, Alexander Dzhiku, Daniil Denisov, Ruslan Litvinov, Oleg Ryabchuk, Ilya Samoshnikov and Daniil Khlusevich;
midfielders — Ezequiel Barco, Igor Dmitriev, Roman Zobnin, Daniil Zorin, Maxim Laikin, Marquinhos, Christopher Martins, Nikita Massalyga, Anton Roshchin, Pablo Solari, Ivan Sorokin, Nail Umyarov and Zhedson Fernandes;
forwards — Levi Garcia, Anton Zabolotny and Manfred Ugalde.
