The ex-CSKA football player died at the age of 31. His mother is sure he was killed

Former CSKA player Lionel Adams found himself in an unpleasant situation at the end of last year. The football player got into a fight on the street and was shot at with a pistol that evening. A little more than two weeks passed, and the athlete died under strange circumstances.

Fighting and shooting

CSKA graduate Lionel Adams was never able to play for the army club at the adult level. After leaving his native club, the footballer tried his hand at the FNL, then played in clubs near and far abroad. Few fans followed the defender’s career when he played in Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, but at the end of last year football fans had a reason to remember the player. True, it is very sad – the athlete was beaten and wounded with a firearm.

Later, some details of the incident emerged. According to the Telegram channel “Mash on Sports”, Adams and another football player Timur Magomedov got into several fights that ill-fated evening. It was noted that the athletes first got into a fight with unknown people on the street, and later became involved in another conflict in a bar.

— The duty department received a message that sounds similar to gunshots were heard near one of the houses located on Moskovskaya Street in the city of Zvenigorod. The arriving police officers preliminarily established that there was a quarrel between three citizens, which escalated into a brawl, during which several shots were fired from an object structurally similar to a traumatic pistol, noted the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region.

Mysterious death

Lionel ended up in the hospital with lacerations to his lips and a gunshot wound. But at the same time he refused to write a statement to the police, and later left the medical facility without permission. One might assume that it was just one difficult day in the player’s life, but a little over two weeks later another news about Adams appeared, and much more terrible.

“Mash on Sports” reported that a 31-year-old ex-football player of CSKA, Yenisey, Volga, KAMAZ and a number of foreign clubs fell from the window of a high-rise building in the Moscow region and died before doctors arrived. By the way, Lionel was in the apartment of Magomedov’s friend, the same one with whom they got into several troubles at the end of December.

What happened to the former football player remains a mystery. Lionel’s mother suspects that her son was murdered. More details will probably appear in this story, but for now the sad thing remains to be stated: the CSKA graduate is no longer with us.
