Mostovoy would like to join Gusev’s coaching staff at Dynamo
Former Russian national team player Alexander Mostovoy told Match TV that he would agree to join Rolan Gusev’s coaching staff at Dynamo.
Gusev was confirmed as the head coach of Dynamo on December 23, before which he led the team in an acting capacity after Valery Karpin left his post. Earlier, the club announced that Zhirkov and Roman Sharonov became Gusev’s assistants.
— Yuri Zhirkov and Roman Sharonov joined Rolan Gusev’s headquarters at Dynamo. How do you feel about this?
– Remember how a month ago everyone criticized Roland for his words. Now everyone is somewhat quiet, because Roland is now in the role of head coach. And now no one says anything. I’m glad for Yura Zhirkov. The fact that he didn’t call me is yes. But I’m already calm about all this. Let the guys work, good luck to them. If Roland had called me, I would, of course, have agreed,” Mostovoy told Match TV.
After 18 rounds, Dynamo is in 10th place in the WORLD RPL standings with 21 points.
