Murici’s hat-trick brought Mallorca victory over Athletic in a La Liga match
Mallorca defeated Athletic Bilbao in the home match of the 20th round of the Spanish Football Championship.
The meeting in Palma de Mallorca ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the hosts. Vedat Murici scored a hat-trick for the winners, while Unai Gomez and Iñaki Williams scored for the visitors.
In the 70th minute, Athletic remained in the minority; Gorka Guruseta was sent off for a second yellow card.
In the next round, Mallorca will play away against Atlético Madrid on January 24; Athletic will go to visit Sevilla a day earlier.
