Former Lokomotiv footballer Arthur Shamrin has died
Former Lokomotiv Moscow football player Arthur Shamrin died at the age of 57, reports the press service of Metallurg Lipetsk.
As noted, Shamrin’s death was confirmed by his son Sergei. Recently, Shamrin Sr. was ill and had a disability. On Friday he went for an evening walk and did not return. Relatives and volunteers searched for him all night; his body was found on the street in the Yeletsky microdistrict of Lipetsk.
Shamrin played for Lokomotiv, SKA (Odessa), Druzhba (Maykop), and trained with the main team of Spartak. He retired from acting at the age of 28.
