“In two or two and a half years, anything is possible.” Karpin did not rule out that in the future he could lead Real Sociedad
The head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, did not rule out the possibility of leading Real Sociedad in the future.
The Russian coach attended the match of the 20th round of the Spanish championship between Real Sociedad and Barcelona (2:1).
“In two or two and a half years, everything is possible,” DAZN España quotes Karpin as saying.
During his playing career, Karpin played for Real Sociedad in 1994–1996 and 2002–2005.
In November, the specialist left the post of head coach of Dynamo. He took charge of the Blue and Whites in the summer of 2025, signing a three-year contract. At the same time, he combined work in the club and the Russian national team. Karpin’s contract with the RFU runs until the summer of 2028.
