Spanish Barcelona midfielder Pedri he will miss a month with a hamstring injury. This was reported by the club’s press service.
The player was injured in the match of the seventh round of the general phase of the Champions League against Czech Slavia (4:2), which took place on Wednesday, and was replaced in the 61st minute. An exam the next day confirmed a right hamstring injury.
Pedri is 23 years old and has been playing for Barcelona since September 2019. In total, the midfielder has played 227 games for the club, scoring 28 goals and making 29 assists. Together with Barcelona, Pedri became a two-time champion of Spain and winner of the National Cup and three times of the Spanish Super Cup. Previously, he played for Spanish side Las Palmas.
