The RFU satisfied Zenit’s application for Rostov’s debt for the transfer of defender Tarasov

The Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Russian Football Union satisfied Zenit’s application regarding Rostov, according to the RFU website.

The club from St. Petersburg asked to collect the debt from Rostov for the transfer of football player Alexander Tarasov.

— Satisfy the application of FC Zenit to apply sanctions against FC Rostov in connection with the failure to comply with the decision of the chamber (in the case of Zenit’s application in relation to Rostov to collect debt under the transfer contract for the transfer of football player Alexander Tarasov) in full.

In connection with the failure to comply with the decision of the chamber, apply a sanction in the form of a fine to FC Rostov in accordance with paragraphs. 6, 11 art. 54 of the RFU regulations on dispute resolution.

Oblige FC Rostov to pay the specified fine within 30 days from the date of entry into force of this resolution, the message says.

The 20-year-old defender moved to the Rostov club in the summer of 2025. This season Tarasov played six matches for Rostov in all tournaments.
