The English Championship match between West Ham and Sunderland was temporarily interrupted due to a conflict between the Black Cats midfielder Xhaka Granite and one of the fans.

The incident occurred at the end of the match, which West Ham won 3-1. Xhaka did not appear in the match due to an ankle injury, but still traveled with the team to East London.
