Sports director of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Walid Salah El Din confirmed it Hamza Abdelkarim goes to Barcelona.

Terms have already been agreed between the two clubs and the 18-year-old striker will soon undergo a medical in Barcelona before signing a contract.

El-Din told Mundo Deportivo: “Yes, Hamza Abdelkarim will go to Barcelona. I wish him every success, I want him to be able to gain a foothold at Barça and not return to Egypt.”

Abdelkarim will go on loan to Barcelona until the end of the season with the right to buy in June. Initially the player is expected to play only for the second team of the Catalans.

Chelsea have officially activated the option for the defender’s early return to the squad Aaron Anselm. The central defender will return to the London club next week.

Anselmino played in Germany with Borussia Dortmund in the first part of the season. The 20-year-old Argentine performed well in the German team and Chelsea decided to return the player early to fill a problematic position in the center of defense.
