Mostovoy is a two-time champion USSR as part of Spartak, winner of the Portuguese Cup (Benfica), finalist of the French Cup (Strasbourg) and the Spanish Cup (Celta). As part of the Russian national team, Mostovoy played 51 matches, in which he scored 10 goals. He is the winner of the European Youth Championship as part of the national team USSR.
