Dominican footballer Edarlin Reyes he refused to return to the Tula Arsenal after the end of the holidays, despite a valid contract. This was reported by the Arsenal press service.
In the current Paris League (First League) season, the 28-year-old midfielder has played 15 matches, in which he has scored 3 goals and made 5 assists.
“Midfielder Edarlin Reyes, despite existing contractual obligations, refused to return to the team after the end of the holidays. Arsenal informed the player of the training camp schedule in advance and purchased all the necessary tickets for him. We believe that such an act is a manifestation of disrespect not only for the club, but also for you, our fans. Arsenal will fine Reyes for not showing up for the training camp and reserves the right to make further decisions,” the press service said in a statement of Arsenal.
“We are negotiating and until the last moment we hope to find a way out of this situation. Our goal is to minimize possible financial and reputational risks for the club,” the club added.
Arsenal after 21 rounds have scored 28 points and are placed in 10th place in the First League table.
