Zenit CEO confirms striker Yuri Alberto could go on loan

General Director of the St. Petersburg “Zenith” Alexander Medvedev said that the club may release the Brazilian striker team Yuri Alberto on loan for a period of one year.
Earlier it was reported that Alberto could use the permission of the International Football Federation (FIFA) and suspend the contract with the Russian club. On Thursday, Brazilian journalist Samir Carvalho tweeted that Corinthians had made progress in loan negotiations for the 21-year-old.

Alberto has been playing for Zenit since January, his contract is valid until 2027. The forward played 15 matches for the Blue-White-Blues, scored eight goals and became the champion of Russia.
