Former Spartak Moscow coach Dmitry Gunko believes that the Moscow club acquired midfielder Anton Zinkovsky from Krylia Sovetov not as a replacement for Zelimkhan Bakaev, who left for Zenit.
– It cannot be said that Zinkovsky was taken to replace Bakaev. He plays on the left. Same place as Quincy Promes. Maybe in terms of budget or transfer policy there has been a reshuffle. Relatively speaking, the rate was vacated, and Zinkovsky took it. But this is not a replacement in position, RT Gunko quotes.
Zinkovsky has been playing for Wings of the Soviets since 2019. Last season, he became the best assistant of the RPL, giving 9 assists in 30 matches. He also scored 4 goals.
