Former goalkeeper of the Russian national team Ruslan Nigmatullin believes that the decision of the midfielder of the Moscow “Spartak” Viktor Moses not to come to the training camp of the “red-whites” may be due to the emergence of other options for the Nigerian footballer to continue his career.
On Thursday, Spartak reported that 31-year-old Moses did not arrive at the team’s location on the appointed day. At the same time, the contract with the player has not been suspended, the club is investigating the circumstances of this decision.
– Given that FIFA gave the green light to terminate the contracts of legionnaires who play in Russia, Moses may have decided to take advantage of this. It is likely that the agents sang that there are some interesting options to get a better contract. Therefore, Moses decided not to come to the Spartak training camp, ”Championship” quotes Nigmatullin.
Moses made 33 appearances for Spartak last season, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
